Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. veal and 1 lb. pork or 2 lb. chopped stew meat
    2 c. celery
    2 c. onions
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 can bean sprouts
    salt and pepper
    chow mein noodles and/or rice
Preparation
    Cut meat in small pieces (or have the butcher do it for you) and brown in Crisco or vegetable oil.
    A frying pan works better than
    a wok.
    Add molasses, mustard, celery and onions.
    Cover with water and cook 1 hour or until meat is done.
    Add bean sprouts and thicken with cornstarch (put 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in 1/4 cup warm water; stir, then add to mixture).
    Pour sauce over noodles and/or rice.
