Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter (room temperature)
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Sift together first 4 ingredients.
    Cut butter into flour mixture; add eggs alternately with buttermilk.
    Beat well after each addition; add almond flavoring and beat.
    Grease and flour tube cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour, then turn to 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    DO NOT open oven door while baking.
