"Mama'S" Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    8 unbeaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 3/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Sift flour once.
    Measure and add baking powder and salt. Sift three times.
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar.
    Cream together until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour (small
    amounts at a time).
    Beat on high for several minutes.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
