Applesauce Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. quick oats
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Combine shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Fold in applesauce, raisins, nuts and oats.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Fold two mixtures together. Bake 70 minutes at 350\u00b0.
