Egg-Cheese Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 oz. grated mild Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. cooked crumbled bacon
    2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    7 eggs
    6 to 8 slices white bread
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Trim crusts from bread, then butter.
    Lay in bottom of baking dish.
    Sprinkle bacon over bread.
    Combine eggs, milk, cheese, salt and pepper; pour over bread.
    Let sit for 1 hour or overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, until puffy and brown.
