Chili-Mac Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) red kidney beans, drained
    1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, drained
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation
    In large skillet brown meat, drain fat.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Stir in beans, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, uncooked pasta, green chiles, chili powder, garlic salt and 1/4 cup water.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat.
    Cover, simmer 20 minutes, stirring often.
    Top with cheese, cover until cheese melts.
