Hot Turkey Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 small carrots, thinly sliced diagonally (1/2 c.)
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/4 c. sliced celery
    3/4 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can Franco-American turkey gravy
    sliced cooked turkey (about 1/2 lb.)
    4 diagonally sliced pieces Italian bread
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat in hot margarine, cook carrots, onion, celery and thyme until tender, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in gravy.
    Heat to boiling.
    Add turkey.
    Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
    Divide turkey and gravy mixture evenly among bread slices.
    If desired, serve with apples and grapes. Garnish with fresh thyme.
