Curry Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chickens
    2 medium onions
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    salt
    garlic powder
    mild or spicy curry
    1/2 stick butter
    1 green pepper
    pepper
    6 large potatoes
Preparation
    Clean the chicken.
    Cut the chicken in quarters.
    In a skillet melt the butter and vegetable oil.
    Sprinkle garlic powder into butter and vegetable oil.
    Season the chicken with the curry powder, pepper and salt.
    Place chicken into skillet.
    Brown all chicken pieces on both sides for about 10 minutes.
    When chicken is brown, remove from pan.
    Add onions and green pepper in skillet. Add chicken and cut quartered potatoes.
    Sprinkle with more curry; let simmer covered.
    Add 1 cup of water at 1/2 hour.
    Serve with white rice.
    Serves 5.
