Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. whole dills
    1/4 clove garlic (in each jar)
    6 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    3 cinnamon sticks
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Drain and cut dills into 1/2-inch chunks.
    Place pickles into pint jars.
    Add garlic.
    Boil sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
    Add spices.
    Pour over pickles and spoon spices into each jar; put lids on jars and shake every day for few days. Should be kept refrigerated, but will keep if sealed on shelf.
