Nine Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Nine Bean soup mix
1 qt. water
1 c. diced ham
1/2 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained), chopped
1 small can tomatoes and green chiles (undrained)

Preparation

Sort and wash bean mix; place in heavy pot.
Cover with water 2 inches above beans and soak overnight.
