Swedish Rice Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Minute rice, cooked
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    pepper to taste
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom or celery soup
    2/3 c. water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine rie, beef, egg, onion, salt, nutmeg, pepper and milk. Mixing lightly, shape into balls.
    Place in skillet.
    Blend soup with water and lemon juice.
    Pour over meat balls and bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes, basting occasionally.
    Makes 24 meat balls or 2 servings.
    Serve with rice or noodles.
