Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies (no more)
powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine margarine, sugar, syrup, nuts, and dates and beaten egg in a large skillet.
Cook, stirring constantly until soft ball forms in cold water.
Add vanilla and Rice Krispies.
Roll into 2 long rolls.
Then roll them in powdered sugar or coconut. Refrigerate until firm.
Slice.
