Spaghetti Con Vongole Ed Acciughe(Spaghetti With Clams And Anchovies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. onions
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    30 shucked cherry stone clams and liquid or 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
    6 anchovy fillets, drained
    2 red peppers, chopped
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 lb. angel hair spaghetti
Preparation
    Saute onions in oil until soft.
    Add clam liquid and anchovies.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir in peppers and garlic. Cook for 15 minutes.
    Add clams and cook for 5 minutes.
    Cook spaghetti al dente, drain and place in warm bowl.
    Pour clam sauce over spaghetti and toss.
    Serve in hot bowls.
    Serves 4 to 6.
