Winter Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. grated nuts
    1 1/2 c. grated coconut
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatine
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp. pure vanilla
    1/3 c. red colored sugar
    1 small pkg. slivered almonds, tint them green for stems
Preparation
    Combine nuts, coconuts, gelatine, condensed milk and vanilla in medium bowl.
    Work until smoothly mixed.
    Form into a ball and chill for at least 1 hour.
    Shape chilled mixture into strawberries using 1 tablespoon mixture for each strawberry. Chill again, roll strawberries in red sugar, insert stem in each strawberry.
    Refrigerate in airtight container until ready to serve.
