Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box cake mix (follow directions on box; make 2 layers)
2 small boxes Jell-O instant pudding mix (follow directions on box)
1 large can strawberry pie filling
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
1 or more c. chopped pecans or other nuts
2 small pkg. coconut (frozen or unfrozen)
16 oz. Cool Whip

Preparation

Put in punch bowl in this order:
cake layer, 1/2 of everything in order given, cake layer and 1/2 of everything in order given.
Sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
