Santa'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped dates, rolled in sugar
    1 lb. candied pineapple, sliced in 1/8ths
    1 lb. Brazil nuts
    1 lb. candied whole cherries (red and green)
    1 lb. pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Sprinkle dates, pineapple, nuts and cherries with 1/4 cup flour.
    Beat eggs; add sugar.
    Sift 1 1/4 cups flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
    Add to sugar mixture. Fold in fruit and pack in well-greased and paper-lined tube pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
