Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean beef stew meat
    1 can cream of mushroom or golden mushroom soup
    1 can French onion soup
    water
    salt and pepper
    4 medium potatoes
    4 to 5 medium carrots
Preparation
    Cover the beef stew meat in water in a large pot.
    Cook the meat in the water for 15 to 20 minutes. Add soups, salt and pepper.
    Add potatoes that have been cubed and sliced carrots. Cook on low simmer until all are tender.
