Oma'S Linzer Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) jar raspberry, strawberry or apricot preserves
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    Cut in butter with pastry cutter or knife until butter resembles fine pebbles.
    Mix milk with beaten eggs and add to flour and butter mixture.
    Mix and knead until batter forms a ball.
    Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
    (Wrap in plastic or wax paper.)
