Ingredients

1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a skillet, melt margarine.
Add sugar, dates and egg; mix well.
Bring to a boil on medium heat and boil about 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, pecans and vanilla.
Mix and set aside to cool.
Roll into balls and roll in coconut.
