Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt.
    Blend in water, stirring until cocoa is dissolved.
    Add milk; bring to boiling. Boil gently 3 to 4 minutes until sauce thickens, constantly stirring.
    Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
    Makes 1 cup sauce.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Delicious over pound cake and/or ice cream.
