Green Chili Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can sodium-free tomatoes, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can whole green chili peppers, drained
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce (optional)
Preparation
    In a blender container or food processor bowl, place tomatoes, chili peppers, onion, garlic and hot pepper sauce, if desired. Cover and blend or process about 5 seconds or until combined, but still chunky.
    Serve at room temperature or transfer to a small saucepan and heat just until warm.
    Yield:
    1 1/2 cups.
