Lemon Crisps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vinegar
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix together shortening, sugar and egg until well blended. Stir in milk, lemon extract and vinegar.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir into sugar mixture until stiff dough forms.
Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet and press with fork dipped in flour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
Let cool before removing from pan.
