Noodles Kugel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. oleo
    4 eggs
    8 oz. broad noodles
    4 apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    3/4 c. raisins
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Melt oleo.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Boil noodles, leave slightly underdone.
    Let stand in cold water until needed.
    Pare and slice thinly the apples; add cinnamon, nutmeg, orange juice, lemon peel and sugar.
    Mix and let stand.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole.
    Put ingredients in layers, starting with noodles and ending with apples.
    Sprinkle raisins on each layer.
    Pour remaining juice over all.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    No raisins on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
