German Chocolate Chess Squares - cooking recipe

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix with pudding
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 c. chopped pecans
2 large eggs
Preparation

Combine cake mix, butter, 1 egg (beaten) and pecans.
Press into bottom of a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Set aside.
