Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green tomatoes
    6 green peppers
    6 red peppers
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. prepared mustard
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 pt. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Grind peppers and tomatoes; let drain 5 minutes.
    Mix sugar and flour together.
    Combine all ingredients except mayonnaise.
    Cook on top of stove 10 minutes, stirring often.
    If desired, a double boiler can be used for cooking to avoid sticking.
    Remove from stove and add mayonnaise.
    Put in jars and seal; process 5 or 10 minutes in hot water bath.
    Makes 4 pints.
