Scalloped Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chicken stock
2 c. boiled rice
3 c. cooked, cut up chicken
3 c. chicken gravy, seasoned with celery salt or poultry seasoning
slivered almonds (1/2 c.)
chopped pimiento (2 Tbsp.)
sauteed sliced mushrooms (1 c.)
buttered bread crumbs or Wheaties
Preparation

Pour chicken stock over boiled rice.
Place in alternate layers in greased 11 x 7-inch dish the cooked rice, cut up chicken and chicken gravy.
Sprinkle slivered almonds, pimiento and mushrooms over each layer.
Top with buttered bread crumbs or Wheaties.
Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
(I don't always use pimentos; I usually use more mushrooms and almonds.)
