5 Egg Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
pinch of salt
5 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Flour and grease tube cake pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.
Add flour, baking powder and salt mixture alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and lemon flavorings.
Mix well.
Bake for 55 minutes.
