Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. frozen strawberries
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    juice and water to equal 1 c.
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Thaw and drain strawberries.
    Heat juice and water with cornstarch until thick and clear.
    Stir in jello.
    Mix well.
    Stir in strawberries and pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Chill.
    Top with whipped topping before serving.
    This is especially attractive with a spoon of whipped topping in center of pie slice with a fresh unstemmed strawberry stuck in center of the topping.
