Grandma'S Skillet Dinner(Complete Meal In A Skillet) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 potatoes
    slices of ham or Canadian bacon
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. water
    sliced apples, unpeeled (1/2-inch thick)
    brown sugar
    3 to 4 pats butter
Preparation
    Scrub potatoes (do not peel) and slice about 1/8-inch thick. Salt and pepper lightly.
    Put potatoes in pan or skillet with a cover.
    Layer with slices of ham or Canadian bacon, then sliced apples.
    Sprinkle apple layer lightly with brown sugar and add 4th layer with slices of ham; repeat layering process to top of skillet.
    Add butter and water.
    Cover and cook 1/2 to 3/4 hour on stove top burner (heat level depends on your stove).
    Serve in skillet along with bread and butter.
