Grandmother'S Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Add butter, milk and beaten egg.
    Mix well.
    Spoon into greased pan and bake in oven for 20 minutes.
