Plain Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder (omit if using self-rising flour)
Preparation
    Mix all above ingredients.
    Roll out and cut out or make little balls and flatten with a glass dipped in flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cake will not brown, but will be crisp when cool.
