Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) crust
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Scald milk and butter.
Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Stirring together, gradually add milk and butter to the egg mixture.
Beat together until foam forms on top. Pour into prepared crust.
Bake 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and cook 20 minutes or more until firm.
Cool and serve.
