Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 or 7 large peppers
1 small pan cornbread
1/2 c. rice
1 medium onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 small can tomato sauce
3 or 4 slices bacon
Preparation

Cook cornbread and rice as usual; set aside.
Clean peppers and halve, then put in pan of water and boil for 10 minutes.
When peppers have boiled, drain on paper towel.
Brown ground beef, onion and some bell pepper bits until beef is done.
Drain off fat.
Mix all ingredients together and fill peppers.
Place strips of bacon on peppers and bake about 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Can also use chicken broth to get desired consistency.
