Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 Crisco
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 small can milk
    2 tsp. vanilla or 1 each vanilla and lemon (this I prefer)
Preparation
    Cream butter and Crisco until light.
    Add sugar and blend. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Combine milk and water enough to equal 1 cup.
    Add dry ingredients and liquid alternately to sugar and butter mixture.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan for 1 hour.
