Pollo Alla Salvia(Sage Chicken) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken (2 1/4 lb.), cut up
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. dry white wine
2 oz. Prosciutto, sliced in thin strips
6 to 8 fresh sage leaves
salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Rinse and dry chicken pieces.
Heat oil and butter in a skillet and brown the chicken thoroughly.
Drain most of the fat and add wine to the pan.
Then add Prosciutto and sage.
Season to taste.
Cover and simmer gently until chicken is cooked through, 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve at once.
