Chinese Fried Walnuts (Or Pecans) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    4 c. nuts
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Bring water to boil; add nuts.
    Bring back to boil for 1 minute.
    Rinse under hot water in a colander.
    Stir in sugar. Heat 1-inch oil in skillet and fry nuts until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and salt.
    Cool on waxed paper.
    Store in airtight containers.
    I fry in a stock pot and watch the temperature.
