Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    small head cabbage
    2 carrots
    1/2 pod green pepper
    small onion
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion. Mix and bring to boil vinegar, sugar, salt and turmeric. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover tightly. Will keep in refrigerator 1 week.
