German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
6 medium-sized apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla, beating until light and fluffy.
By hand, stir in flour, soda, salt and cinnamon, alternately with apples.
Stir in nuts.
Spread batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
