Noodles Mexicali - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. egg noodles
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) bag frozen whole kernel corn
    12 oz. thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 cans condensed tomato soup
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 large clove garlic, crushed
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook noodles as directed.
    Drain.
    Meanwhile in large skillet brown beef, onion, celery and garlic.
    Drain excess fat.
    Add corn and mushrooms.
    Heat 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients, except for cheese. Mix well.
    Add cooked noodles.
    Mix.
    Transfer to 3-quart casserole. Top with cheese.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and cheese has melted.
    Yields 8 to 9 servings.
