Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. applesauce
7 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine ingredients in a heavy pan.
Bring to a boil on high heat; turn down and let boil 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into sterilized jars; seal at once.
Makes 4 pints.
