Icebox Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 c. boiling water
1 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
raisins or dates
Preparation

Pour boiling water over 100% bran.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Beat until fluffy.
Stir in buttermilk and bran.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add to rest.
Store in refrigerator, tightly covered. Add raisins or dates when baked. Bake 25 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
