Tomato Ketchup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomato juice
    sugar
    spice
    ground onions
    salt
Preparation
    Take tomato juice.
    Let stand in warm place 4 or 5 days until it really sours.
    Skim off top and part of water from top.
    Use remaining juice and add sugar and spice to taste, 1 onion (ground real fine) and salt.
    No vinegar is used.
    Boil slowly until thick. Pour in pint jars and turn upside down 24 hours to seal.
