Mrs. Leavens White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add dry ingredients; alternate with milk.
    Bake in 2 (9-inch) pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Frost with icing and cover with coconut.
    Grease, flour and wax paper pans.
