Cheesy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced, peeled potatoes
2 c. water (more if needed)
1/2 c. diced carrots
1/4 c. onions
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. cubed, fully cooked ham
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. margarine
2 c. milk
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation

In a large saucepan, combine the first 7 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until the vegetables are tender. Add ham. In another saucepan, melt the margarine; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted. Add to soup.
