Cheese Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. marjoram
6 c. flour
Preparation

Scald milk; add sugar, butter and salt and cool.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Add to cooled milk mixture.
Beat in egg, cheese, thyme, marjoram and 3 cups of flour until smooth.
Stir in remaining flour and knead well.
Allow to rise once in bowl and once in pans, covered, until double in bulk.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.
