Herbed Garlic Bread - cooking recipe

1 unsliced loaf (1 lb.) French bread
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Slice bread, but not all the way through, leaving slices attached at the bottom. In a small mixing bowl, cream butter. Add Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano and garlic salt; mix well. Spread between slices. Wrap loaf in a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
