Candied Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 unbeaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    2 c. candied cherries cut in half (1 c. green-1 c. red)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Blend in egg and vanilla.
    Add flour and mix.
    Stir in nuts and fruit. Chill mixture for one hour. Shape into 3 rolls and chill 3 hours.
    Cut 1/4 inches thick.
    Bake 325\u00b0 for 13-15 minutes.
