Ingredients

1 can chickpeas
1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
3 Tbsp. tahini (available in health food store)
1 tsp. salt
juice of 1 lemon
1/3 to 1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Rinse and drain chickpeas and place in blender with remaining ingredients.
Turn on blender and keep mixing mixture with fork until well blended.
Don't get it caught!
Garnish with olives and a little oil drizzled on top.
Serve on Syrian bread cut into triangles or as dip with fresh vegetables.
