Georgia Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 c. flour
    salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. fruit (strawberries, peaches are favorites)
    1 c. sugar (I use 2/3 c. to reduce calories)
    butter
    1 c. fruit juice (made by mashing up some extra fruit)
Preparation
    Stir together sugar, Crisco, flour, salt, baking powder and milk in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan.
    Mix fruit, sugar and fruit juice together and pour over the batter.
    Dot the batter with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until done.
