Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 slightly beaten egg yolks
1 c. coconut
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt.
Gradually add milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Cook 2 minutes, remove from heat.
Add small amount to egg yolks, stirring remaining hot mixture.
Cook 1 minute.
Add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Cool slightly.
Pour into baked pie shell.
